About

Welcome

First of all, thank you for stopping by The Book of Brenden. I know there are millions of other blogs and billions of other websites out there. The fact that you decided to hang out here for a little while is awesome, and I appreciate it.

And it’s my hope that we can be mutually encouraged in our shared time.

What I’m Writing About

At The Book of Brenden, I’m writing about everything from personal experiences to cultural phenomenon and social criticism with the hope of finding how God is revealing himself through it all.

Because I believe that God is revealing himself slowly and steadily through all things in response to our prayer to make everything on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Dat Bio, Though

I’m an all-out performer in the Middle Tennessee area. I’ve graduated from MTSU with a B.S. in Theatre and can usually be seen performing at Fly Arts Center or with the South of Broadway Players in my hometown of Shelbyville, TN. I’m also working on that whole “spreading my wings” things and am working my way through the Middle Tennessee area.

When I’m not acting, I frequent the singer/songwriter and karaoke circuit wherever I can. I’m also a freelance storyteller and spin yarns with the BoroTellers in Murfreesboro, TN. And I supports this crazy and adventurous life by working in the food service industry.

Ultimately, I strive to serve as a signpost that points people back to the God that created me and saved me from myself, and I feel that the best way to accomplish that is obey the blessed infinitive: to love one another.

  1. Thanks for taking the time to hit the “like” button on today’s blog post. I will admit bias when I write. For now, as long is my friend Z is not given the same civil rights as I am, it will be for her. Sure, there are some posts that veer but, it is to support her. In a broader sense, it is for my family, friends, and the world. It is just, for me, that I can more easily write about a person I love. I do like what I read that you write and hope you keep doing it. The world needs more of us “reasonable” Christians.
